• Test and Analyze various airfoils to find the optimal variant to be used as a propeller blades in an Air-Sea Drone (Nautilus) prototype design.
• Designed a scale 3D model of the Drone with only basic components like fuselage, fixed-wing, and propellers used in the nose as well as a tail with an interchangeable nose propeller for the airfoil testing.
• The scale model was tested using different airfoils in a wind tunnel to collect lift as well as drag profile data for each airfoil with the help of the program designed on LabView application.
• The collected data were processed using a MATLAB program to develop plots for all the data that is required to identify the most efficient airfoil for Nautilus's design and compared it to the data from the ANSYS simulation for validation.
• Concise report with all necessary information and data for the choice of airfoil was drafted to be presented under a comprehensive report for Nautilus Senior Design Project.
